Terms of service
Terms of Service
Last updated: 21 August 2026
These terms apply to purchases made through omniorigin.store, trading as omnI/Origin. They do not apply to services or purchases from any separate business using a similar name.
1. About this store
omnI/Origin operates the online shop at omniorigin.store. You can contact the store at alex@omniorigin.co.uk, through our Contact page, or by writing to Horsemarling Cottage, GL10 3BU, United Kingdom.
2. Using the website
You must use this website lawfully and must not interfere with its operation, security or other customers’ use of the store. Product information on this website is provided for shopping and general information.
3. Products and descriptions
We take reasonable care to describe and display products accurately. Colours and appearance may vary between screens, and manufacturers may update specifications or packaging. Please check the product description, selected variant, dimensions, compatibility and contents before ordering.
Electrical products must be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s current instructions, safety information and operating limits. Where a product requires specialist connection or commissioning, the customer is responsible for arranging a suitably competent person. The store sells products only and does not offer system design or installation services through this website.
4. Orders
Submitting an order is an offer to buy. An order is accepted when we send confirmation that it has been accepted or dispatched. Orders remain subject to payment authorisation, availability and any delivery restrictions applying to the product.
If we cannot accept an order, we will tell you and refund any payment taken. We may refuse an order where there is an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, a legal restriction, unavailable stock or an unsuitable delivery destination.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. VAT treatment will be displayed where applicable. Delivery charges and available payment methods are shown before the order is completed. Prices may change, but a change will not affect an order already accepted except where the displayed price was clearly incorrect.
6. Delivery
Delivery arrangements, restrictions and estimated times are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods passes to a consumer when the goods are delivered to the consumer or a person identified by them, unless the consumer independently arranged a carrier not offered by us.
7. Cancellation and returns
Consumer cancellation and return rights are explained in our Return & Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights provided by applicable UK consumer law.
8. Faulty or misdescribed goods
Goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality as required by law. If you believe a product is faulty, damaged or incorrect, contact us promptly with your order number and details of the issue. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
9. Compatibility and safe use
Some solar, battery and electrical components are compatible only with specified systems, voltages, connectors or operating conditions. Do not combine products unless compatibility has been confirmed from the current manufacturer documentation. Do not modify, open or use a product contrary to its safety instructions.
Grid-connected equipment and certain fixed electrical products may be subject to regulatory, network or competent-person requirements. Buying a product from this store does not confirm that it is suitable or authorised for a particular site or connection.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase. If you use products for business purposes, any additional limitations permitted by law will apply only to the extent that they are fair and enforceable.
11. Intellectual property
The store’s branding, written content and original imagery may not be copied or commercially reused without permission. Manufacturer names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
12. Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms applying to an order are those in force when that order is placed.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings available in the part of the United Kingdom where they live.
